Mosquito Joe of Northeast Houston recently acquired The Woodlands territory. We are proud to say that since April 2017 we have been making outside fun again for zip codes 77380, 77381, 77382, 77384, 77385, 77386, and 77389.

The Woodlands is a beautiful place that our owner, Darryl Nevins, is happy to call home. When we acquired this territory, he was thrilled to know that he would be servicing the area in which he lives. Darryl is one of the most genuine people that I have met and has such a passion for making people’s lives a little bit easier by ridding their properties of mosquitos. You will find that with Mosquito Joe of Northeast Houston our two priorities are providing the best service and the best customer service you could find.

We have built many long-lasting relationships with our customers and continue to strive to grow our Mosquito Joe Family. Each customer is treated with the upmost respect and appreciation. The service itself is amazing. After the first treatment, you see a decrease in the mosquito population by 70% and by your third treatment you see that really great 95% decrease! The product is only broken down by time itself, which is awesome because we all know that here in Texas it likes to randomly rain! Happy Memorial Day! Here at Mosquito Joe we respect, value and honor the people that have bravely fought and lost their lives for our freedom! Here are a few fun facts about Memorial Day:

• Memorial Day is a day that we as Americans take to remember the brave people who lost their lives defending our country.
• Memorial Day was initially called “Decoration Day” and started up after the Civil War.
• The red poppies became the official symbol for Memorial Day in the 1920’s, thanks to Moina Michael who started wearing and selling poppies to honor the servicemen who died at war.
• Memorial Day officially became a national holiday in 1973.
• In 2003 a resolution was passed, “The National Moment of Remembrance”, which asks all Americans to pay their respect in some way to the fallen soldiers at 3pm. I encourage each and everyone one of you to take some time to honor them.

Mosquito Joe of Northeast Houston will be closed on Memorial Day to allow our families the time to be with loved ones, enjoy their freedom and most importantly, to remember and honor our fallen heroes.

It’s a beautiful day for all the residents of Northeast Houston. Our technicians are out giving home owners their yards and their lives back. The recent emergence of spring has seen a big influx in the mosquito population. Our mosquito control services are here to help. We will not only come spray your yard but we are also here to educate and make you mini experts on how to best defend yourself against mosquitoes. Happy March 1 to all our customers in Northeast Houston. Hopefully y’all were able to get out and vote today for the future President of the United States. Now that Super Tuesday is behind us in Texas that means the number one blood sucker that will be a constant in your life is no longer the late night campaign volunteer looking for donations but the good old fashioned Texas Mosquito. It looks like whatever flavor of winter we had this year is about to be behind us and a full blown mosquito season is weeks away. While the mosquitoes are just starting to get up to speed we have already been getting a lot of reports of the no-see-ums in Kingwood and Humble and have been asked if we can treat for those pests beyond mosquitoes. Of course! We can not only take care of your mosquito problem but we also treat for fleas, ticks, no-see-ums and fire ants. Mosquito Joe of NE Houston Opens Early

Happy weekend everyone!

Our Mosquito Joe team was out in full force this past Friday spraying customers throughout Kingwood, Atascocita, Lake Houston and Humble. Hard to believe this February weather! When I look at the news and see another polar vortex swirling down through the Northeast it sure does make me grateful that we live here in the great state of Texas. Originally we were planning to hit the ground running hard this March for the next mosquito season but with the emergence of Zika and the abundance of calls we have decided to open our doors a month early to best serve our community. As we forecast ahead it looks like another 10 days of amazing Texas weather so feel free to give us a call and let us get you on the schedule before those pesky mosquitoes explode onto the scene in the upcoming weeks.

Mosquito Joe in Kingwood adds additional defense against Zika

This season we are also proud to be offering installation of mist systems at the request of so many of our customers last year. The focus of our business will continue to be barrier sprays performed every three weeks by our licensed technicians but due to demand we vetted some vendors in the off-season and are proud to have additional solutions to your mosquito and pest problems this summer.  Give us a call to find out what solution will work best for you and your family.
